Batchelor Family

I didn't think Ogden had that many great places for a photoshoot. But I was wrong. Last Saturday was the perfect day for photographing and the fall colors couldn't be better. Thanks guys for making this shoot easy for me!!

Sometimes...

This handsome little guy was not in the mood to be photographed. But I was sneaky about it. He did have fun running around and giving me a challenge. Thanks Mugs for making the drive down.

Dusti, Nat and Ry

I had a lot of fun with this family. Not to mention they are good friends of mine. Went to good old Logan and found some choice spots. Enjoy!

Cook Family

Adminttingly, this was my first big group shoot. I came away from this having learned by doing. Bigger groups are a bit frustrating, but when that one golden nugget comes out it was worth it. Here are a few of those.

People

My first experience with couples was doing a shoot for my friend who was about to get married. I was so excited she used a lot of the pictures we did. They even hang in her house today. Nothing flatters a photographer more than to see their work proudly displayed in a home. This is a collaboration of those first few and more.

Kiddies and babes

Kids have the best personalities when they think I am not taking their picture. I love it when they just are playing and their true side comes out. Nothing pleases me more than to come back from a shoot and find that one golden nugget. The one picture that says it all.

Favorites/Artsy

I go on photoshoot dates with myself. I try and go to different spots that inspire me, or just are plain cool. Here is a collaboration all the way from Logan to South Jordan.

Pets

I love capturing everything, mostly my dog, Harley. So my first album is of Harley.

About Me

Thanks for checking out my photography blog! Let me introduce a little about myself.
Photography is one of those contagious creative outlets. It is so easy to look back and enjoy those great moments in life. I caught the bug, if you will, about 7 years ago. I fell in love with getting my film developed and being surprised when pictures would turn out better than expected. However the switch to a digital camera changed my life. Suddenly I could take more risks, try different things. Instant gratification as long as the battery lasted. I fell in love with learning new skills, new perspectives, meeting new people who introduce new fashions of life. That is my goal: to never stop learning.
I am inspired by all the small things around me. A smile that no one notices, a quirky look I happen to catch, or just my dog basking in the sunlight. I chose the name "Blur" because life seems to do that. Go by in a blur, memories, names and faces become a blur. So many small moments in life get blurry yet they turn out to be the greatest. And they only last a split second. My job to is make them last forever.
